LEARNING COLLABORATOR, INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL OF HELSINKI, FINLAND
As an educator, I have worked to clarify the math curriculum in the Primary Years Programme (PYP), with a particular focus on achieving both vertical and horizontal alignment in the curriculum. I have also made sure that the PYP requirements are met while taking into consideration the cultural diversity of the students. In addition, I have organized and conducted virtual assemblies for lower school students, providing them with a platform to engage with each other and share their thoughts and experiences. Finally, I have collaborated with colleagues to develop and implement school improvement initiatives, which have enhanced the overall educational experience for our students. Through these efforts, I have been able to foster a positive learning environment that encourages students to excel and reach their full potential.
February 2020 - June 2020
INTERIM ASSISTANT HEAD OF SCHOOL
I was appointed the role mid-year, and I supported families, students, teachers, stakeholders to the changes in management. I facilitated a school-wide transition from face to fact learning to distance learning. I interviewed candidates, coordinated protocols with staff and worked with the operations team for overall maintenance and day-to-day duties of the school.

IB/PYP AND REGGIO EMILIA CURRICULUM COORDINATOR AT ETONHOUSE MALAYSIA
I assisted, amend, and designed school policies with school community. I oversaw the implementation of the self-study protocols for the five year IB/PYP Evaluation visit. I actively engaged with Managebac platform for documenting teaching and learning. I designed workshops for families and teachers.

YEAR 4, 5, 6 CLASSROOM TEACHER AT ETONHOUSE MALAYSIA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL
I worked with the same group over learners over a span of three years. We executed PYP Exhibition virtually to over 300 educators globally. We also used PYP Enhancements such as concurrent teaching of exhibition and flexible unit timelines.

FOURTH GRADE TEACHER AT ANTOFAGASTA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, CHILE
This was my first PYP school. I worked with 18 diverse students with Spanish backgrounds, ages 9-11. I revised transdisciplinary units of inquiry and strengthen my knowledge and skills as an inquiry-based educator

SECOND GRADE TEACHER AT IMAGINE GROVEPORT COMMUNITY SCHOOL, OHIO USA
I started my professional teaching career working with US Common Core in a low income, high poverty area. I worked with 30 unique students, a majority of those needing substantial academic intervention. I worked to design several IEPs for those students, and significantly increased student achievement.

PRESCHOOL TEACHER & CHILDCARE PROVIDER AT STAGES EARLY LEARNING CENTER, OHIO USA
This is where I fell in love with teaching and learning. This opportunity allowed me to understand the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive capacity of young learners. I worked here alongside my studies, so I was able to implement theories in conjunction with university classes.
